How are my exam scores tabulated?
The PCAT is scored on a scale ranging from 200 to 600, with the mean usually falling between 340 and 460 and the standard deviation approximately 30 points. Your score will be also given in the form of a percentile based on the strength of the applicant pool. For example, if your percentile score is 60, this means that you scored higher than 60 percent of the other test takers. In the program, you can see what your percentile is compared to other pre-pharms around the world.

Your writing papers on the actual PCAT will be scored by trained and calibrated scorers.
